October 8, 2026 – Voter Registration table . We will have a festive table set up in front of the Meeting House (137-16 Northern Blvd., Flushing, New York) encouraging people to register to vote and set up an election day action plan. With the gates open we will invite people to also view the pollinator garden developed by Green Earth Urban Gardens.
October 11, 2026 – Join us for our usual second Sunday of the Month meeting at Flushing Meeting House, 137-16 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, New York 11354 at 10:00 AM. Enjoy an hour of silent meditation in the Worship Room or attend our Introduction to Quakerism Lesson. This week we will again consider Lesson 11 on Quaker Action and Activism.
October 18, 2026 – POC will hold its quarterly Business & Breakfast Meeting at 15th Street Meeting House, 15 Rutherford Place, New York, New York at 10:00 AM. Every three months we meet to determine upcoming projects and action items. All are welcome!

Join us for a reflection on the past year and an appreciation of our trials, tribulations and accomplishments.

January 10, 2027 – Join us for our usual second Sunday of the Month meeting at Flushing Meeting House, 137-16 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, New York 11354 at 10:00 AM. Enjoy an hour of silent meditation in the Worship Room or attend our Introduction to Quakerism Lesson. This week we start the curriculum over with Lesson 1 – Light and Dark, an appreciation of the wonder and mystery of nature’s balancing forces. We will learn how to make our own smudge sticks from our garden and purify the Meeting House for the start of a New Year.
